Animation – psychological roots of anger (Wrath)

In 7 deadly sins wrath is based of the myth of dragons which represents anger. Anger can be based off ego and can be humiliated or embarrassed leading to a bruised ‘ego’

Wrath can be a mask for multiple others – fear, anxiety, guilt, shame, embarrassment, betrayal, jealousy, sadness, hurt and even worry. Wrath can be seen as a few other sins in one.

Symbolism for wrath is THE dragon– in the 7 deadly sins, however in my animation I will show anger as a character to show how I see my own anger but I will link it back to the 7 deadly sins and back to the symbolism of wrath and the dragon.

Planning –

I plan on showing how wrath can be portrayed as good vs evil as well as good vs bad- they can both be used to show understanding of Wrath, I would like to do jt from a personal perspective/experience.

Genre – comedy, short, animation, dark comedy

We know this because it is a short animation with slight dark humour, the sticks/wood “die” in the fire, the style of animation makes it funny as well as dark. This can be aimed at teens 10-18. There is unusual symbolism with the little twig being social justice.

Genre- action

We know this because it is a short animation with violence and fighting, the men fight till one loses, the style of animation makes it simple. This can be aimed at teens 10-18. There is unusual symbolism with the two men fighting, it shows one will be always physically stronger while the other is mentally stronger and can win.

Genre- animation, short, dark themes

‘a girl lives in a scary environment under threatening circumstances. Namely, she lives with a wolf in the house’ – We know this because it is a short animation with dark themes, the girl is being assaulted by the wolf, it’s a dark, the style of animation makes it simple yet shows a mature style at the same time. This can be aimed at teens 13-18. There is unusual symbolism with the girl hiding from the wolf as well t the start with case file, it shows one will be always weaker and scared while the other is mentally stronger and can win over the girl.
